Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

As the Senior Property Management Specialist – Property Book Office (PBO) you will play a lead role in the development of the Government Property Management Systems Committee (GPSC) system as well as mentor more junior Specialists.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that functional procedures and processes, which clearly define roles and responsibilities, activities, and measurement tools, are in compliance with the requirements of the Government Property Manager (GPM) and site appendix.

  • Generate, coordinate, submit for publication, and implement revisions or changes related to the property procedures/work instructions.

  • Establish and maintain necessary record controls, ensuring that all records are kept in such a condition that at any stage of completion of work under a contract the status of all Government/Customer property may be readily ascertained.

  • Ensure appropriate storage facilities for Government/Customer owned property are established as required by the (GPM) and site appendix.

  • Coordinate property management matters with all affected departments, organizations, or groups.

  • Support and participate in property reviews and audits as required.

  • Support the (GPSC) on all Government/Customer property related matters.

  • Support the GPSC in aligning site processes with the Government Property Management objectives and requirements.

  • Ensure KBR’s ability to manage Government/Customer property onsite regardless of which organizational function has physical or administrative control of the property.

  • Ensure the responsibilities for Government/Customer property are clearly defined, communicated, assigned, and executed.

  • Lead a committee of representatives designated as Property Coordinators.

  • Act as the site's primary contact point with the AGPC organization.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a Secret Security clearance and maintain it for the duration of your employment on this contract. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for this position.

  • Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a NACI.

  • Requires Bachelor’s Degree and at least 8 years of documented experience as a Property Book Officer. A High School Diploma or equivalent and an additional 5 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Must have a graduation certificate for GCSS-A Property Book Level course.

  • Must have a valid Italian Work Permit/Visa.

  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
