Compunetix is currently seeking an Accountant to handle daily accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the A/P department
• Monitor accounts and manage vendor payments
• Process credit applications
• Reconcile Accounts payable ledgers, bank accounts
• Prepare GL account analysis, monthly/annual reports, and annual audit

Requirements

• BS in accounting, finance, or related field
• 5+ years' experience with Accounts Payable, supervisory experience a plus
• Experience/Exposure to working in purchasing a plus
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Strong organizational/problem solving skills
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
