Description

We are offering contract employment opportunity for a Paralegal with a focus on Family Law in Miami, Florida. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our legal team, handling a variety of tasks related to Family Law, and will be required to use various management systems. Can be remote for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Family Law processes

• Utilize management systems to organize and track case progress

• Prepare and draft legal documents pertaining to probate, trusts and estates

• Conduct e-filing of legal documents in a timely manner

• Use Microsoft Excel for maintaining and updating case-related data

• Handle billing functions associated with legal services

• Manage calendar for appointments, court dates, and deadlines

• Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other parties involved in the case

• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations

• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive and proprietary information.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a paralegal role

• Proficient in managing and navigating a Management System

• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Billable hours

• Skilled in Calendar Management

• Knowledge and experience in Family Law

• Familiarity with Financial Statements

• Ability to draft legal documents effectively

• Proficiency in e-File and e-Filing systems

• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must possess strong research and report-generating skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

This can be remote for the right candidate.
