Robert Half Compensation Analyst in Denver, Colorado

Description We are seeking a Compensation Analyst based in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be providing guidance and support on compensation program guidelines, managing employee payments, and participating in market surveys to determine our organization's competitive position. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and support on the interpretation of compensation program guidelines to managers and employees

• Manage one-time payments to employees and provide proper documentation and reconciliation reports for payroll

• Conduct job evaluations/market pricing in collaboration with business partners and assign appropriate compensation pay levels

• Assist in the administration of incentive compensation plans, including risk and audit assessments, documentation, calculation, and reconciliations

• Participate in market surveys and analyze results to determine the organization's competitive position

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with partners and line of business leaders

• Assist with the annual compensation planning processes, including salary structure updates, exceptions, merit and long-term incentive programs

• Participate in risk review and audit processes

• Collaborate with Finance on annual budget processes and ensure proper accruals are provided throughout the year

• Lead the annual Total Rewards Statement review and distribution process within Workday

• Work with the internal HR team to ensure that Workday is updated to reflect changes to salary structures, bonus programs, incentive programs, etc.

• Monitor trends of legislative and business changes for impact on total rewards and ensure legal compliance for total rewards programs. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role as a Compensation Analyst

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Compensation Administration

• Experience in Compensation Analysis

• Knowledge of Compensation Benchmarking and Compensation Surveys

• Familiarity with Commision Functions

• Experience in Compensation - Base

• Proficient in using Workday HCM software

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
